NEW YORK, NY, April 28, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Propelled by the momentum of strong word of mouth and positive reviews from the blogosphere after the taping of the premiere episode of the 'This Is 50 Comedy Series', Host and Executive Producer Young Jack Thriller, the front man of 50 Cent's G-Unit Comedy Tour, formally announced the line-up for the series premiere today. "A lot of the comedians featured on the show are really good friends of mine," says Thriller of the line-up. The first episode of the series is a who's - who of the urban stand-up comedy landscape today, featuring comedians Donnell Rawlings (best know as "Ashy Larry" from the record-breaking skit comedy series "Chappelle's Show"), Dawn B. (popular from appearances at NYC's club staple Mixtape Comedy Show, presented by Anthony Anderson and Royale Watkins), as well as buzz-making upstarts Imagine and Damon Rozier.

"One thing about this show," says Young Jack Thriller about the 'ThisIs50 Comedy Series', "we're dedicated to breaking acts." The show is billed as a "virtual web platform for comedians to showcase their talent globally," according to Tanisha Goute, Managing Partner at Jam House Live, the online web streaming company that has partnered with This Is Thriller Comedy and A&S Global Visions to produce the series. Speaking on 50 Cent's involvement with the series, Thriller states, "50 said, 'If we aren't making stars, what are we doing?' So you will see the brand new Chris Tucker, the brand new Bernie Mac, the brand new Mo'Nique, the brand new Steve Harvey - brand new stars all around on this show."

'This Is 50 Comedy Series' isn't just breaking new ground on the web by broadcasting exclusive sets from the hottest comedians making the stand-up comedy circuit. The series promises to bring the best of the no holds barred atmosphere of a real comedy club to the web, running original material from comics with dedicated throngs of fans that have already stirred up quite a buzz for the series prior to its official pay per view debut on the web, Thursday April 28, 2011. News of the overwhelmingly positive response to the premiere show's taping at New York City's landmark Times Square Art Center hit the internet blogosphere with a frenzy, with sites as diverse as Vibe, MTV, The Urban Daily, CBS Market Watch, and Hip Hop Wired all running stories about the show, reporting on some of the more controversial sketches performed by the comedians, the attendees to the premiere (which included the usual models, rap stars, and pro athletes), as well as an announced charitable contribution by the Executive Producers of the show.

This Is Thriller Comedy, A&S Global Visions and Jam House Live announced that proceeds from each ticket sold online will be donated to the Red Cross relief efforts in the wake of the natural disaster aftermath in Japan. "We're very excited by the support we've received from 50 Cent's core fan base. They are loyal supporters to his brand, and they have really propelled the ThisIs50 Comedy movement," states Ms. Goute of Jam House Live. "The ThisIs50 Comedy Series is a viral movement. We're dedicated to responding in real time to what the masses indicate they want to see. The decision to donate 50 cents from the sale of each ticket online was made as a response to a need within the global community."
