The December Monthly Final was a typical shootout as everyone gunned for top places. Only three advanced from each table in the first level. 'Jef' pulled a soft 20 while the dealer showed a 6. The remaining players were dealt 17s or less. Conservative play remained the theme and, using basic strategy, all players stood. The dealer slammed down an 18, much to the dismay of all players except 'Jef' who slipped into the lead.
The top five players earned a free seat at the $21,000 BKJK Bowl and a share of the $2121 in
blackjack tournament prize money. The five that advance and their winnings are:
1st Place - jef - $1,004.22
2nd Place - mandymoney - $597.75
3rd Place - easymoney - $358.65
4th Place - bucs67 - $215.19
5th Place - poser284 - $215.19
There is one more Monthly Final before the Grand Final. Then, like this month's top five, the top five players in the January Monthly Bowl will advance to the Grand Final. Until then, there are three qualifiers each week for free seats at the weekly finals where free seats to the next monthly final can be won. But those that don't win their way to the $21,000 BKJK Bowl Grand Final on January 28th can buy-in for $275. BKJK Bowl will award a total of more than $50,000 in cash prizes.
