Taste Intensified at The Langham, Boston's Chocolate Bar

The Langham, Boston will reconvene its celebration of chocolate when the Chocolate Bar begins its 23rd season on Saturday, September 10.

BOSTON, MA, August 26, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Langham, Boston will reconvene its celebration of chocolate when the Chocolate Bar begins its 23rd season on Saturday, September 10. The Langham's Executive Pastry Chef Jed Hackney has created a menu entitled Chocolate Intensity, utilizing cuisine consisting of varying percentages of cocoa.

"This season is unique because it's been built upon form following function; in other words, the menu inspired the theme," explains Chef Hackney. Five interactive dessert stations will feature varied chocolate content ranges. A selection of this season's menu includes: mango white chocolate chili mousse parfait (0% cocoa), spiced pumpkin and milk chocolate cake (40% cocoa), dark chocolate brulee (50% cocoa), manjari chocolate and Gruyere tart (60% cocoa), and Guanaja cremeaux with olive oil and sea salt (70-80% cocoa).

Energizing music spun by resident DJs will fill the air, an assortment of chocolate martinis will be available, and traditional favorites from whoopie pies to Rice Krispies treats will be featured on a kid's station.
