Burlington Dentist Introduces New Technology To Practice For Increased Patient Care

Dr. Chad Millay, dentist in Burlington, KY, offers patients same day crowns for restored smiles.

HEBRON, KY, September 25, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Leading Burlington dentist, Dr. Chad Millay, is pleased to introduce new technology for restoring a patient's damaged teeth with dental crowns for added convenience, comfort and increased care for all patients. The new dental service offered by Dr. Millay are Hebron CEREC same day crowns.

With CEREC same day crowns in Hebron, patients can be in and out in a single visit with a permanent, all ceramic crown, onlay or veneer. For the patient, this means fewer injections, less drilling, and less time out of their hectic schedules for proper dental care.

"I am pleased to offer my patients this fast and affordable alternative for improving their smile. CEREC allows my patients to improve their smiles in one simple visit. Thousands of people worldwide have already experienced the benefits of CEREC one visit crowns and now my patients can do the same," said Dr. Chad Millay, Burlington, KY dentist.

An acronym for ceramic reconstruction, CEREC was first introduced in 1987 and utilizes CAD/CAM technology. The first step includes an infrared photo taken of the patient's tooth, which is used in the designing of the dental crown using 3D imaging. This information is then sent to the milling machine through wireless or direct wired transmission.

Next, the block of CEREC porcelain is put in the milling machine where the crown is created. When the crown is completed, Dr. Millay, dentist in Burlington, KY, can permanently place the crown in place with strong dental cement. Once this is complete, patients will have a new, natural-looking crown made in as little as an hour with no messy impressions, no temporary crowns, and less dental anesthesia.

Dr. Chad Millay, dentist in Boone County, is committed to delivering every patient in Hebron and surrounding areas the longevity of dental and oral health care they deserve. Dr. Millay is equipped with the necessary education, technology and experience to provide unparalleled results that are vital to any cosmetic dental procedure in order to help patients improve their confidence and smile, which is further showcased through the recent addition of CEREC to the practice.
