URALCHEM Presents New Potassium Nitrate at AgroShow 2011 in Poland

URALCHEM, OSJC is again taking part in AgroShow, the largest agricultural show in Europe, which is taking place in Poland from 23 to 26 September this year.

BEDNARY, POLAND, September 27, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- URALCHEM, OSJC is again taking part in AgroShow, the largest agricultural show in Europe, which is taking place in Poland from 23 to 26 September this year. The company is presenting its new potassium nitrate product with improved quality to European consumers.

Potassium nitrate is the most popular product supplied by URALCHEM to the Polish market. Polish consumers are very familiar with the broad line of standard fertilisers produced by the company. The main consumers in Poland are large distribution networks of local operators. The company is also working with farmers, agronomic community and research institutes.

"Poland represents one of the most promising markets in the EU for URALCHEM's water-soluble fertilisers. This country is a leader of the EU berry and greenhouse crop production and is holding key positions in Europe for the consumption of water-soluble fertiliser and potassium nitrate," commented Elizaveta Polotnyanschikova, Marketing Director of URALCHEM, OJSC. "The capacity of the Polish market for nitrogen fertilisers and ease of logistics ensure stable growth of the company's sales in the region."

To confirm the effectiveness of the products, URALCHEM closely cooperates with the most important research centres in Poland, such as the University of Natural Sciences (the Polish Academy of Sciences) in Poznan.

The improved potassium nitrate product that URALCHEM is presenting at AgroShow 2011 has been tested at the Lithuanian Research Centre for Agriculture and Forestry. The fertiliser dissolves well and does not clog drip-irrigation systems. Its application for vegetable foliar nutrition increases yield and quality. The product also has good storage characteristics, is fully water soluble and meets all European requirements for this type of fertiliser. In addition, a new type of packaging meets the demands of European consumers. The new potassium nitrate product is suitable for direct application, as well as for the production of water-soluble NPK fertilisers.

"Europe sets the trend in agricultural chemistry and its widespread use of water-soluble fertilisers in irrigation systems gives rise to more agrochemical technologies. The company's strategy is to keep up to date with these current trends and thereby meet the highest expectations of European consumers," said Elizaveta Polotnyanschikova.
