Tablet2Cases.com Announces Sponsorship of ADAC Procar Series Team Yaco Racing Driver Michail Stepanov

Tablet2Cases.com launches sponsorship opportunities for sports teams, events & ideas on its website. The first Tablet2Cases sponsorship goes to Michail Stepanov driving Toyota Auris S2000 in ADAC Procar Series for team Yaco Racing.

BUDAPEST, HUNGARY, September 30, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tablet2Cases.com is proud to announce its sponsorship of Yaco Racing driver Michail Stepanov for the 2011 season of the ADAC Procar Series.

Tablet2Cases chose to sponsor Stepanov as an excellent example of the affinity between this company and the driver: As the sole Russian citizen competing in the ADAC Procar Series, Stepanov demonstrates distinctiveness in his field, as does Tablet2Cases. Stepanov and Tablet2Cases also share commonality in that both show lots of promise while competing in fast-paced environments. And in the same way a case protects a tablet PC against damage, Tablet2Cases seeks to protect Stepanov and his Yaco Racing team against the ravages of financial discontinuity.

A resident of Moscow, Stepanov is a veteran of the procar circuit and joined the ADAC competition with the Yaco Racing team in 2010. Stepanov's most notable accomplishment in the top leagues was his second-place overall finish in the 2006 Russian Touring Car Championship. For the 2011 edition of the ADAC series, Stepanov is driver of the no. 9 car, a Toyota Auris S2000.

In the first ADAC Procar Series race competing under Tablet2Cases sponsorship (and the sixth race of the 2011 ADAC season), Stepanov achieved a strong third-place finish at Germany's EuroSpeedway Lausitz. Unfortunately, engine troubles prevented Stepanov from finishing in the following race at the TT Circuit in Assen, Netherlands.

Stepanov has achieved four podium finishes in seven ADAC Procar races this season for Yaco Racing, highlighted by his second place finish at Germany's Oschersleben Motorsport Arena on the series' opening day. He currently stands in fifth place on the Drivers Championship table, with a big 40-point lead over sixth-place Andreas Kast of K&K Motorsport. Yaco Racing is in fourth place in the Teams Championship standings.

About the ADAC Procar Series
Originally founded in 1995 as the Deutsche Tourenwagen Challenge, the ADAC Procar Series is an annual motorsport season organized by Germany-based automobile club ADAC (or "Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club"). The competition features Super 2000 cars run by teams from Germany and other European countries. During the 2011 season, races are to be held in Austria, Belgium and the Netherlands in addition to Germany.

The ADAC Procar Series features a unique format in which each individual event is divided into two different races. After a qualification round to determine starting positions, the first competition on a given race day has the typically 20 to 25 drivers go off with a rolling start. After completion of this race and a subsequent 15-minute break, a second race begins with drivers organized by finish in the first competition and getting a standing start. Points are awarded based on results in both halves of the competition, but cups are awarded based only on the latter.
