Lovers of great boats, be they power or sail, old or new, fiberglass or not, will discover an intriguing wave of stories to fuel their dreams and enrich their time on the water. Classic Yacht online magazine is dedicated to the authentic boating experience.

Classic Yacht has assembled a first-rate crew of contributors. The premiere issue includes current, relevant seamanship tips from the United States Power Squadrons and contributions from those involved in the design of yachts from Chris Craft, Sparkman & Stevens, Ted Hood and more, as well as real owners of storied boats. Edited by Elizabeth Prince, a sailor and graduate of Marquette University with a degree in Communication, Classic Yacht is published by a yacht designer and mechanical engineer.

The premier issue includes stories about a community boatbuilding program for public school children in New York City, a rendezvous of rare tugboat-style yachts in Seattle and one of the world's most revered wooden boatbuilders, Van Dam Woodcraft.

Reviews of the premier issue:

Bill Blackmore, Owner, St. Croix Davits

"This first issue is SO D***ED GOOD! Congratulations, I'm completely impressed."
EdMcKnew, Author, PowerBoat Guide

Darrell Allison, Director of Marketing and Public Relations, United States Power Squadrons

"This is the quintessential 'online magazine' for classic boat owners. Not only is the content engaging, informative and entertaining, but the design of the online edition is exactly what the future of online magazines should be. Incredible first edition."
Rob Cutchins, Public Relations Chairman, The Chris Craft Commander Club

The Spring 2007 issue is available in March and includes the amazing tale of a 23 year-old American motor yacht found by a Spanish couple in a German warehouse with only twelve engine hours. Also, a trip through movie history tracks down the greatest classic yachts ever to appear on the silver screen. Yacht designer Bill Prince begins a regular series of technical articles as well.

Classic Yacht is published quarterly and has rapidly growing subscriber ranks on five continents.
