Flying Fishies Shares LeapFrog Product Review

Air swimmers and educational computer tablets are topping the list of this season's hottest toys. To help toy shoppers determine which is the better to purchase, Flying Fishies is sharing a LeapFrog iPad product review.

TAMARAC, FL, November 17, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- As Christmas is getting nearer, competition among the hottest toys of the season is getting tighter. And among the many of them, flying fishies and leapfrog are topping the gift list of the majority of the consumers. Aiming to help holiday shoppers pick the best, Flying Fishies is sharing a review for the LeapFrog computer tablet.

LeapPad is basically a computer-based toy. Others describe it as the iPad for kids. It has various applications that teach kids in an interactive way with graphics and audio. It also got games, even a camera and a mic and other apps for children's creative side.

According to Flying Fishies though, the said device does not promote interaction with real humans. It prevents kids from spending quality time with family and friends. Additionally, the site states that it got some discrepancies. It does not include rechargeable batteries, it got no WiFi, its apps are not preloaded, and the games, videos and ebooks that can be added to it are expensive.

For all of these disadvantages, the site concludes that flying fishies are the better holiday gift.

Below is an excerpt from Flying Fishies' Review of LeapFrog iPad:

"Christmas is coming! Have you shopped for your kids' gifts? Not yet? Well, before you hit the mall or start scrolling through the online stores, know that it's a battle between two "animal" gadgets for this year's top of the hottest toys list.

"With the ever-advancing technology, gone are the days that stuffed animals are the best gifts to purchase. Of course, they still make a good present. Nonetheless, it can't be denied that their popularity had been overshadowed by computer-based gadgets and remote-controlled devices.

"Thanks to flying fishies and leapfrog though, "animal" toys, or at least toys named after them, have now returned to topping the market. With flying fishies, kids can now make your house a dry aquarium with the remote-controlled fishes flying above your heads. And because they are light and that they smoothly bounce off walls and items they get in contact with, they are also safe.

"But are flying fishies better than leapfrog to gift?

Researchers estimate kids ages 8 to 18 spend almost every hour they are not eating, sleeping or attending school with cells phones, computers, televisions and other electronic devices.

You realize what this means, of course: Kids are spending far too much time eating and sleeping. Not only that, our machine overlords need to do a better job of assimilating children under 8.

LeapFrog to the rescue.

The New York Times reports the company which makes electronic books for kids (the most successful educational toy ever made, by the way) is coming out with the next generation of LeapPad -- it's basically an iPad for kids.

"When it comes to cost, flying fishies makes a better gift. It is cheaper but it can offer kids a great deal of fun and excitement.

"And because the toy is remote-controlled, Flying Fishies sited that more can enjoy the gadget apart from the controller himself. That basically enables the player to create fun and memorable moments with family and friends.

"Though Leapfrog can provide interactive playing, flying fishies can offer real interaction with others and at a much lesser cost as well.
