Allgon Microwave adds new frequency to AMR Transcend

    /24-7PressRelease/ - GOTHENBURG, SWEDEN, March 16, 2007 - The AMR Transcend is the first microwave system on the market that offers Adaptive Coding and Modulation. The functionality adjusts the modem characteristics to the path propagation conditions to maximize the capacity-availability ratio; it is done with no errors in the payload. The availability of the network will increase further and enable the use of smaller antennas.

The AMR Transcend is a 100 Mbps Ethernet Radio and the best choice for backbones to Wireless Broadband Networks such as WiMAX, UMTS TDD and iBurst.

Allgon Microwave now releases 38 GHz AMR Transcend microwave radios. This radio will suit perfectly when planning for Ethernet backhaul networks in urban areas and similar infrastructure topologies.
