Cardinal Capital Management Portfolios Earn Top Rankings in Emerging Manager Monthly National Report

    RALEIGH, NC, February 09, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Emerging Manager Monthly in association with eVestment Alliance recently ranked portfolios from local investment manager Cardinal Capital Management, Inc. among the top emerging managers nationally. In EMM's Fourth Quarter Performance Report published earlier this month, Cardinal Capital's Non-US equity and Balanced Portfolios placed second and third in their respective categories among other national investment strategies.

Cardinal Capital's Non-US equity strategy ranked second in the "Europe, Australasia and Far East Mid-Large Cap" category with fourth quarter, one-year and three-year results of +4.96, -9.07, and +10.43, respectively. Meanwhile, their Balanced portfolio, a blend of 70% U.S. large cap equities and 30% short to intermediate term bonds, ranked third overall in the "Balanced/Multi Asset Large Cap" category with fourth quarter, one-year and three-year results of +8.50, +4.16, and +10.25, respectively.
