Dr. Alford Appointed Chief of Surgery at the New Outpatient Surgery Center at Hadley

    WASHINGTON, DC, March 09, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Specialty Hospital of Washington, Outpatient Surgery Center at Hadley is proud to announce that Dr. Lisa Alford, M.D., vascular surgeon, has been appointed Chief of the Department of Surgery. The Outpatient Surgery Center at Hadley was recently approved by the Department of Health to provide surgical services to the patients and residents of Specialty Hospital of Washington-Capitol Hill and other area skilled nursing facilities.

Dr. Alford currently is a surgeon at the Aesthetic Laser and Vein Center in Glenn Dale, MD, where she performs ambulatory venous procedures and vascular surgical evaluations. She received her Bachelor's degree from Oberlin College and her Medical Degree from Howard University. Her post-graduate training was completed at Howard University Hospital, McGill University in Montreal and New York Presbyterian Hospital where she completed a fellowship in Endovascular surgery.
