Yonkers Dentist Welcomes New Member To Dental Team

Dr. Shahgoli obtained his DDS degree from Ludwig Maximillian's University in Munich, Germany in 1996, where he graduated number one of his class. After graduation, he went on to complete a 2-year advanced education residency in general dentistry at the Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, New York. In 1999, Dr. Shahgoli began residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Lincoln Medical Center in New York City, which he completed in June of 2003.

After his residency, Dr. Shahin Shahgoli joined the Oral and maxillofacial Surgery Centers of Ohio, which is a large group private practice in Columbus, where he became a partner in 2004. In addition, he was also an attending surgeon in Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware, Ohio, and in 2007 he relocated back to New York City where he has since been in private practice and academia.

Together, these Westchester County dentists are dedicated to providing their patients with the best in quality dental care. With their combined experience, Drs. Following his Dental Residency Program at New York Polyclinic Hospital in Manhattan, Dr. Vero opened his office in Yonkers. He also held consulting and teaching positions at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Yonkers, New York Polyclinic Hospital in Manhattan and Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. Fumo graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine with honors and received a special award in restorative dentistry as well as awards in emergency dental care and oral medicine.
