Virginia Beach, VA Dentist Offers Specialized Training For Local Dentists

Dr. Michael Fernandez, dentist in Virginia Beach, VA, invites local dentists to learn more about CEREC technology.

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA, March 18, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Local dentists interested in learning more about new software and how to use it turn to Dr. Michael Fernandez, Virginia Beach, VA dentist, for proper training. To help local dentists expand their practices with the most up-to-date technology, Dr. Fernandez takes the initiative to train local dentists with certified CEREC training.

With advancements in dentistry, CEREC utilizes a 3D map of a patient's teeth to aide in the restoration process. Virginia Beach CEREC allows dentists to perform restorations without messy impressions by electronically transmitting a digitally scanned impression to their in-house lab.

"It is my honor to help the local dentists in my community to better understand some of the most recent advancements in dental technology. CEREC is a new technology that allows s to offer our patients treatment in one simple visit. I understand that many dentists don't seem to have time to travel elsewhere to learn about this technology, so I am happy to offer my help in the learning process for the local dentists," said Dr. Michael Fernandez, dentist in Virginia Beach, VA.

Utilizing cutting edge computer mapping, CEREC is able to make a complex 3D map of the desired tooth or teeth. It allows dentists to quickly restore damaged teeth with natural-colored ceramic fillings, saving patients time. CEREC has two decades of clinical research and practical experience to support its success with more than 8 million restorations performed worldwide.

With the CEREC system, Dr. Fernandez, family dentist in Virginia Beach, can create beautiful life-like porcelain restorations for his patients' teeth. An infrared camera takes images of a patient's tooth after shaping. A CAD-CAM computer program immediately downloads the images of the patient's teeth to create a three-dimensional virtual model that can be viewed and manipulated on the computer monitor. The computer-aided technology eliminates the laboratory step in manufacturing of the Virginia Beach dental crowns, which allows for treatment to be completed in one visit.

Local dentists can benefit from the certified CEREC training provided by Dr. Michael Fernandez, Virginia Beach family dentist. Dr. Fernandez encourages local dentists to take advantage of this training, to provide their patients with superior dental care with the latest in technology advancement with CEREC in Virginia Beach.
