La Cage aux Folles tells the story of George, suave owner of the eponymous nightclub, and his happy relationship with his long-term partner, the flamboyant drag queen Albin.
 
However, when the couple's son John announces that he is getting married to the daughter of a prominent conservative politician, it sets the stage for a meet-the-parents dinner filled with mishaps and mayhem.
 
The show won 11 Tony Awards and has proven an enduring hit, while the original story also spawned the Hollywood comedy The Birdcage, starring Robin Williams, Nathan Lane and Gene Hackman.
 
Prices for tickets range from S$35 to S$125 (GBP17.60 to GBP62.90), with performances taking place at 20:00 local time from Tuesdays to Saturdays and 15:00 on weekends.
