Scottsdale Medical Spa Gives Free Facial With CoolSculpting

Scottsdale Skin Institute now offers non-invasive CoolSculpting at its med spa in Scottsdale. The FDA-approved treatment freezes and destroys fat cells, which are gradually eliminated from the body, creating a more sculpted figure without surgery.

PHOENIX, AZ, July 01, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Scottsdale Skin Institute's technologically advanced med spa in Scottsdale has added the patented CoolSculpting body-contouring treatment to its array of skincare and spa services.

As a special introduction, patients receiving their first session of CoolScupting at Scottsdale Skin Institute will receive a free facial.

CoolSculpting employs a patented system called Cryolipolysis, which was developed by Harvard University scientists and approved by the FDA in 2010. CoolSculpting treatments at the day spa in Scottsdale take only about an hour and require no downtime, so patients can return to their normal routines the same day.

"CoolSculpting is a non-surgical fat-removal technique that kills subcutaneous fat cells by simply freezing them," says Dr. Remus Repta, a board-certified plastic surgeon and clinical advisor for Scottsdale Skin Institute. "The body subsequently eliminates these cells naturally. Patients may have a number of sessions over several months for optimum results, but fat reduction will already be visible after the first session."

Unlike other body-contouring techniques, which can damage surrounding tissue, leading to longer recuperation time, CoolSculpting zeroes in on the unwanted fat cells using a focused cooling method. Since fat freezes at a lower temperature than other tissue, only the fat cells are frozen, and only the frozen cells are eliminated.

"This is truly a revolutionary treatment," says Dr. Pablo Prichard, also a board-certified plastic surgeon and Scottsdale Skin Institute medical advisor. "It forgoes the need for cutting or surgical suction. Patients literally walk away after each session."

Candidates for body contouring and other aesthetic procedures should consult with a trusted plastic surgeon or body-contouring specialist to determine whether CoolSculpting is the right choice for them, Dr. Repta says.

Scottsdale Skin Institute also offers facial rejuvenation procedures such as BOTOX Cosmetic and dermal fillers, as well as laser hair removal and laser skin treatments.

The Scottsdale Skin Institute is a medical spa in Scottsdale, AZ that offers spa and skincare services as well as an array of non-surgical aesthetic treatments. All procedures are performed by a highly trained staff led by board-certified plastic surgeons Dr. Remus Repta and Dr. Pablo Prichard. The institute's facilities include treatment rooms for individualized skincare services and a luxurious "relaxation room" in lieu of a traditional waiting area. In addition to offering non-surgical procedures, Scottsdale Skin Institute works in conjunction with Advanced Aesthetic Associates in Phoenix to provide cosmetic and reconstructive surgery for the face and body.
