Good Dog, Great Dog! Now Offering the Quick Fix Program for Bad Dog Behavior

New Quick Fix Program is designed to immediately address a variety of canine behavioral issues.



    PETALUMA, CA, August 27, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Good Dog Great Dog, a professional dog training company based out of Northern California, today announced the launch of their new Quick Fix Program for bad dog behavior and related issues. Wednesday Bogel, the founder of Good Dog Great Dog, is a professional trainer of dogs and their people. She provides a private, reward-based behavior training which takes place in the owner's home.

Bogel stated, "The first step in the program is a consultation in which I evaluate and explain to the owner, why their dog is demonstrating the problematic behavior that they are. I then proceed directly to then training session, through which I work directly with both the owner and their dog to resolve their behavior issue."

In her Quick Fix Program, Bogel addresses a variety of bad dog behavior including:

- Jumping up on people or counters
- Stealing food from people, garbage and/or table or counter tops
- Pulling on the leash, and not sitting when their owners stop walking

The Quick Fix Program also trains dogs to:

- Not barge out the door, walkways, or stairs ahead of the owners
- Not be afraid to go up or down the stairs or to use the doggie door
- Listen to their owner's commands such as "sit" or "down"

The program also offer ideas and activities for keeping dogs mentally and physically challenged. Dog's behavior varies from one another and with Bogel's assessment of dogs, she is be able to address these specific behavior issues in her one session Quick Fix program.

In addition to the Quick Fix Program, Good Dog Great Dog offers other dog training programs as well. Bogel explained, "Some dogs are not trained and/or have several behavior issues such as aggression and anxiety. Dog aggression training deals with dog-to-dog aggression and fighting, food aggression, fear-based aggression, biting, and resource guarding. Dog anxiety issues can include separation anxiety, fear issues, excessive barking, chewing, and digging."

These problematic behaviors can be addressed in a separate program offered called The Practical Training for Dogs & Their People Program. This program also covers dog reliable obedience and puppy training. Dog reliable obedience is the process of training dogs to listen to their owners command regardless of distractions through the development of selective hearing. Puppy related issues and training covers housebreaking, nipping and biting, as well as basic obedience.
