Lacoste Women's Collection, Fall/Winter 12/13

The new Lacoste woman was introduced last season by Felipe Oliveira Baptista, and this time she has proved that the crocodile is a creature for all seasons.

BRIGHTON, ENGLAND, September 28, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- So, in addition to the range of essentials available throughout the year, three themes cater to one's every whim. After all, why not indulge when it's off the peg?

--Feminine Essentials--

With the "Essentiels" range, simplicity becomes sophisticated. Following the polo shirt's lead, the outline becomes increasingly feminine, thanks to fluid textures and an immaculate finishing. The brand's new best-seller, the shirt, comes in poplin, stretch poplin and washed cotton and is ideally paired off with vintage gabardine chinos or corduroy trousers. The Felipe Oliveira Baptista touch can also be seen in the outerwear, with extra-light padded jackets and belted coats.

--Colour-Shock!--

The Indian Summer theme has shaken up the colour-block trend. A base of black, beige or flesh colour is twisted with pink and orange. Dresses displays colour shading. A vibrant out-line deconstructs the shirts with fine details: cut tails, pockets with silk panels, muslin details, Tunisian collars. The range of materials becomes rich and surprising. Silk crepe, with its slight grain, is reminiscent of the traditional pique. In her striking trench coat, the Lacoste woman is ready to stride off into the Autumn.

--Luxury, dark & voluptuous--

The palette of colours darkens with the Retro-ski theme. Colours are eclipsed, and luxury blossoms. There is no likelihood of a downpour spoiling the day. The coats of treated lycra mesh protect as much from the rain as they do from bad taste! The oversized sweatshirt is reinvented as a tunic to be worn over trousers. And for even more femininity, pair a polo neck with a little ribbed dress fitted at the waist. Chic through and through.

--Tomorrow, winter--

The muffled sound of snow crunching under your steps. The look in this last theme, Ice Age, futuristic and graphic, uses soft tones: off-white, pale pink, mottled grey, or flinty blue. The lurex is reminiscent of reflections on the snow. Laser cut-outs landscape the figure, while the position of the jumper's ribbing is designed to enhance its shape. The knitwear, in wool or cashmere, delights us with plenty of jacquard and Norwegian designs. A true winter wonderland!
