/24-7PressRelease/ - July 25, 2007 - Presidential Candidate Orion Karl Daley has published his Election 2008 platform as a book. It is called 'The New Deal, an Election 2008 Primer'.

Mr. Daley believes that the people are owed more than just campaign lip service when the future of our nation is at stake. He sees that voters are normally expected to trust their candidates. But he believes today, voters should be able to verify what candidates really stand for and what they are actually going to do for our nation. He further believes that the best way to demonstrate this is for election 08 candidates is to put it in writing for the people.

"I want the people of our country to know what they can count on and hold me accountable for in the leadership of our nation as President of the United States of America." - OKD

In December 2004, Orion Karl Daley wrote 'The Promise' with his family's health, safety and welfare in mind. Seeing it as a standard that all deserve in the nation, it became a message that stuck with him to 'Leave no American Behind'. This became the State of the Union Address, that if honored with the opportunity, he intends to present to the people and Congress on Jan 20th , 2009. Mr. Daley's State of the Union Address also served as the basis for the book, The New Deal.

Candidate Daley intends that "The New Deal for Election 2008 represents plans and commitment in leadership of our nation. It is a set of blue prints for our strategic future with the message to leave no American behind".

The New Deal's focus is on the reform of the government with respect to the information age, the economy in order to bring it into the 21st century, and provide personal empowerment in a secure nation that has workable foreign policy. For OKD these have to work together like gears in a clock in order to sustain time, and therefore assure the health, safety and welfare of our people as a nation.

The New Deal is driven by five fundamental principles that Mr. Daley sees as a solid common ground that is shared between US Citizens: Transparent and Accountable Government in how it is to serve the people, The Dignity of Human Rights in our mutual regard, Balanced Trade to provide fair parity with foreign importers, Economic Solvency for our national security, and to conduct workable foreign policy that demonstrates a respect in how we regard others, and how we are to be regarded by them.

In the New Deal, Mr. Daley presents detailed strategy to pay back the over burdened foreign debt without major cost to the taxpayer, bring momentum back into our economy, return industry to US soil, build strong labor unions, and have personal empowerment when it comes to having real health care, employment, and good educational systems.

Orion Karl Daley further holds that "As being a blue print, in voting for the New Deal in November 2008, it's do-able, and that's the bottom line."

The New Deal, an Election 2008 Primer can be obtained at Amazon with ISBN: 1419670948

The five principles provide solid common ground between all viable political parties; and religious faiths, and are applied to solutions for many of the problems and challenges that we are faced with today. It is the Alternative to provide the Strategic Future of our Nation.
