Pardee Homes Marks Decade of Holiday Giving With Gifts & Good Cheer in All of its Regions

Homebuilder's 10th annual outreach program benefits southern California & Las Vegas families in need.

LOS ANGELES, CA, December 23, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- With funds once devoted to its own festivities, Pardee Homes celebrates the holiday season by making it brighter for others. This year, the company also celebrates a decade of its Holiday Giving campaign, which reaches out in all of the homebuilder's regional divisions. In each, employees decide where to put available dollars, many adding to the kitty from their own pockets, and with generous donations of their after-hours time.

"Community giving is a core value of Pardee Homes, and while it happens all year, Holiday Giving holds a special place," said President and CEO Mike McGee. "Lending a hand is especially significant this time of year, and is tremendously rewarding for all of us at Pardee Homes."

Holiday Giving benefits the temporarily homeless, families in crisis, physically or mentally challenged children, and others identified by Pardee's regional offices. Recipients in the 2012 campaign include:

Los Angeles/Ventura Counties--Camarillo's RAIN Transitional Living Center (RAIN TLC), a Ventura County facility for homeless families and single adults, has been part of Holiday Giving since inception. In addition to the Holiday Party with Santa Claus and wish list gifts, Pardee's assistance encompasses facility improvements. www.raincommunities.org

Also receiving help from Pardee in this region is Santa Clarita's Carousel Ranch, which provides therapeutic riding programs for disabled children. See www.carouselranch.org. Pardee Homes also makes a donation to Food Pantry of Santa Clarita Valley, which sources and delivers nutritious food to qualifying Valley residents. www.scvfoodpantry.org

San Diego--Pardee's San Diego workforce is helping to get bicycles and helmets to deserving children through the Cares Bike Drive of the local Building Industry Association.
