North American Company Ready MorePlas to Advance in Worldwide Markets with New Web Presence

In the competitive worldwide market of flexible packaging, one Alabama based company is better poised to make their mark. MorePlas, the merging of two flexible packaging veterans is announcing the release of their new website at Moreplas.com.



    BIRMINGHAM, AL, March 17, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- MorePlas is the result of the 2010 joint efforts venture between the principals of Moreland Machinery and Innoplast Machinery. This Birmingham/Vancouver based company, Moreland International Corporation, is now the Moreland Manufacturing Corporation, and is doing business under the MorePlas brand name.

The company's extensive manufacturing experience, engineering knowledge, and asset value management answers the need for applications driven equipment and systems. This experience is demonstrated through their new website.

The flexible packaging industry is an important one for the United States with about a 25% share of the world's flexible packaging production and demand. The industry continues to show strength, growing from about $55 billion worldwide in 2006, to $70 billion in 2011. The global market is expected to hit $90 billion by 2016. Much of this growth can be expected to be seen from China and India. MorePlas hopes to take advantage of this anticipated growth by supplying machinery from its US and Canadian Alabama based production facilities. MorePlas products include machinery for bag making, coating and lamination, as well as web handling.

Some of the specific equipment featured on the organizations new website includes a full line of bag machines: Atlas Inline Shuttle, Spartan Sideweld and Mercury Wicketer; coating and lamination systems; and Hercules Webhandling line including Surface Winders, Dual Turret Winders, Coreless Winders and Interleave Winders.

The Coating Lamination Systems include the Apollo line of solvent-less laminators. These 3 revolutionary new pieces of equipment are compact and inexpensive, yet high performing. They utilize a new generation of process control hardware and software to reduce downtown and operator involvement.

The Saturn Multi-process Laminator, also featured on the website, offers permanent modularity allowing for reconfiguration even after installation. Ergonomic design affords easy access for adjustments and maintenance. The Saturn can be upgraded to a double function machine, solvent-less or solvent base.

MorePlas also provides a variety of peripherals for the industry as well, including bag separators, mini-separators, and folders.
