What's Better Than Watching a Bigfoot Hoax? Watching a Bigfoot Film that Debunks Them

This is about two films that debunk two of the biggest Bigfoot hoaxes. One film is called "Hoax of the Century," a film about the faking of the Patterson-Gimlin footage of Bigfoot. The other film is "Anatomy of a Bigfoot Hoax."

REDWOOD CITY, CA, May 14, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- "The Bigfoot Hoaxes just keep on coming" says Bigfoot Hunter Tom Biscardi, President of Searching for Bigfoot, Inc. of Redwood City, California, and if you want to find out the truth behind two of the biggest Bigfoot Hoaxes of all time, you can see the detailed stories about them in two films that Biscardi produced.

The most recent film is "Hoax of the Century." Hoax of the Century is about the faking of the famous Patterson-Gimlin footage of Bigfoot.

The other film is "Anatomy of a Bigfoot Hoax," a film about the true 2008 story of the frozen "Bigfoot body" that turned out to be a costume that was actually stuffed with the body parts of several kinds of dead animals. "Anatomy of a Bigfoot Hoax" won an award for the Best Documentary at the Pocono Mountains Film festival in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania in 2011. (Two other films that Biscardi produced, "Bigfoot Lives" and "Bigfoot Lives 2" have also won awards for the Best Documentary at the Pocono Mountains film festival in recent years.)

"Each of these movies about the Bigfoot Hoaxes plays like a detective story and gives detailed information about the stories behind the stories you may have seen in the news," says Biscardi.

In the film "Hoax of the Century," about the making of the Patterson-Gimlin film, you will hear first-hand testimony from:

1) Bob Heironimus (The man who wore the Bigfoot Suit.)

2) You will hear from Philip Morris (of Morris Costumes), the man who sold the Bigfoot suit to Roger Patterson.

You will also see Morris demonstrate how the original costume was altered to become the female "Bigfoot" depicted in the Patterson-Gimlin film.

You will also hear from several other people who were directly involved in the making and financing of the Patterson-Gimlin film.

Plus, you will also hear from Greg Long, a writer who exposed the hoax in 2004 in a book he wrote called "The Making of Bigfoot."

"And, if you want the complete story, in the words of some of the people who were directly involved in the making of the Patterson-Gimlin Bigfoot footage, now you can see it and hear it in the testimony in this film called "Hoax of the Century," says Biscardi.

The other film about the next biggest Bigfoot Hoax, "Anatomy of a Bigfoot Hoax," is a fascinating true story, and this film reveals a lot of information that you won't see anywhere else but in this movie," according to Tom Biscardi.

You probably remember the press conference...two people who claimed they found a dead Bigfoot in the woods of northern Georgia told their story to the world at a press conference in Palo Alto, California on August 15, 2008.

That date, August 15th, 2008, also became known by some of the press over the internet as "Black Bigfoot Friday" because there was such intense interest in the story that website after website crashed and reports came in of computer screens going black under the weight of so many searches for "Bigfoot" or "Sasquatch."

Then, on August 16th, 2008, when Tom Biscardi's Searching for Bigfoot team started dissecting the "body," it turned out that the frozen "Bigfoot Body" was actually a costume that had been stuffed with the body parts of several kinds of dead animals.

The fact that the costume had been stuffed with the body parts of different animals was one of the reasons why the initial DNA samples seemed to indicate that a real Bigfoot body may have been found. Some of the initial DNA reports came in as consistent with human and ape DNA. Later DNA testing came in that showed DNA of an opossum. Was it possible that the creature had eaten an opossum?

All of that made little difference after the Searching for Bigfoot team discovered that the body was fake, but as they started to take apart the body, they were amazed and physically sickened when they discovered the lengths that the people who put together the fake body had gone to trying to make the body look real and produce credible results with sample DNA testing.

It turned out that there were several kinds of animal parts that were stuffed into and sewn into the costume.

Some of the easily identifiable parts were a whole dead pig, parts of a donkey, and a bull's genitalia. There were some other body parts that could not be easily identified and part of the head of the costume was even filled with a bag of dog food.

The Searching for Bigfoot team would still like to know where the DNA that indicated that the body was part ape and part human had come from, according to Tom Biscardi, President of Searching for Bigfoot, Inc.

In "Anatomy of a Bigfoot Hoax," you can see the full details of the story as it happened and you can see the story behind the story of the whole adventure.

You will also see detailed shots of the dissection of the frozen "body" as they pulled the body parts out of the costume.

In "Anatomy of a Bigfoot Hoax," the world can see the amazing "dissection" of the frozen "bigfoot body" and what they found inside it.

The film was produced by Searching for Bigfoot, Inc. of Redwood City, California, and filmmaker, Brian Mazzola of Portland, Oregon.

All of Biscardi's Bigfoot movies, "Anatomy of a Bigfoot Hoax," "Bigfoot Lives," "Bigfoot Lives 2, "In the Shadow of Bigfoot," and "Hoax of the Century" are available through Searching for Bigfoot, Inc. at www.searchingforbigfoot.com and www.amazon.com.

Biscardi is also featured in a new release by Minnow Films called "Shooting Bigfoot." Part of that film follows Biscardi and his Searching for Bigfoot team on an investigation they did into another Bigfoot sighting.

In addition to his current film and expedition activity, Biscardi's Searching for Bigfoot, Inc. is also in the process of developing plans for a museum that will be called the Bigfoot/Hollywood Props/Dinosaur Museum and Bar and Grill. One of the possible locations for the museum is being planned for Old Town in Sacramento, California.
