Worldwide Who's Who Names Judith Martin Gamble Professional of the Year in Banking

    MAYPEARL, TEXAS, May 22, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Judith Martin Gamble, bank director for Cowboy Bank of Texas, has been named a Worldwide Who's Who Professional of the Year in banking. While inclusion in Worldwide Who's Who is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Who's Who membership.

Mrs. Gamble was reared in Maypearl. In high school, she transferred to Waxahachie High School and graduated at the head of her class. She attended Southern Methodist University and in her sophomore year, she transferred to the University of Texas at Austin, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in home economics education. In her first year of teaching, she was a teacher of the seventh and eighth grade; and in the second year, she taught home economics, chemistry, and physics. She worked in her father's cotton gin as a bookkeeper for many years. At the age of 38, she went back to school and completed a Master of Science in social work. She was inducted into the Alpha Chi honor society. From 1990 until 2011 she served as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in a local long-term care facility. In 1999, she was named Social Worker of the Year.

In 2004, Ms. Gamble was elected to the position of bank director for Cowboy Bank of Texas. In her role, she is responsible for making decisions regarding financial issues for banking and loans. Proficient in problem solving, Ms. Gamble also helps formulate policies for customer service and assists in establishing strategic objectives and plans for the coming year.

Recognized for years of invaluable contributions to the field of banking, Ms. Gamble was honored as a Professional of the Year with Worldwide Who's Who in 2012. She feels her success can be most aptly attributed to a desire to make ethical decisions for her company and exhibit an unwavering work ethic.

Ms. Gamble is happily married to Gary and has four beautiful children, David, John and Paul Martin, and Karin Martin Shinpaugh. She has nine wonderful grandchildren and Gary has five precious grandchildren. She enjoys making a difference in the lives of others, especially her family. She would love to be remembered for her smile and empathetic nature, and for her love of others. Ms. Gamble is a retired choir member of the First United Methodist Church of Waxahachie after serving for more than 35 years. She is a sustaining member of the Waxahachie Junior Service league. She is a Paul Harris Fellow of the Rotary Club International. She has acted, danced, and sung in more than 28 performances in as many years. In her free time, she enjoys traveling.
