He makes the most of a solid background in safety critical systems design, system integration and system innovation that he has developed over the years, along with a detailed knowledge of managing and leading complex programmes of work, to strategically deliver a wide variety of challenging and business critical global programs of improvements and change control programs.

Throughout a successful career, Mr. Barnett has been recognized many accomplishments, and he has come to attribute his success to his hard work, perseverance and willingness to adapt to business situations. He became involved in his profession through his enduring interest in the engineering field. Mr. Barnett earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Manchester Metropolitan University, and went on to earn a Master of Science in Rail Systems Engineering from The University of Sheffield. He is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and technology and a full Member of the Association for Project Managers. In years to come, Mr. Barnett hopes to be the Head of Engineering or Head of Operations at an ambitious organisation.
