Melissa was also a Business Architect at CSC, and a VP at Express Scripts. Prior to Express Scripts, Melissa held increasingly responsible roles including CIO at both Targus International, and Sterling Commerce, along with VP, Product Development - Web Hosting for SBC. Melissa also was VP, Production Support at Starbucks Coffee Company, and held various management roles at Nationwide Insurance.

Ms. Johnsen received a bachelor's degree in history from the University of California at Davis. Outside of her consultancy, she is affiliated with the American Association of University Women (AAUW), St. Louis Forum, and the Alpha Phi Sorority. Ms. Johnsen also sits on the board for a Planned Parenthood Affiliate - St. Louis / Southwest Missouri and as the Trustee for The Marianne Johnsen Endowment, enables fundraising for a University of Arizona scholarship for young women studying mathematics. For fun, she enjoys the symphony, opera and activities such as biking, hiking and reading. In the future, Ms. Johnsen hopes to be active in her current capacity assisting non-profits and small to mid-size business in enabling their success.
