Social Discovery Service kyntal Redefines How Users Discover Local Businesses

Privacy has become a major concern for many users when using Social Networks. On kyntal, users can interact with other users without revealing their personal Identity.

CHICAGO, IL, June 21, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Chicago startup emerges from stealth mode with launch of mobile service kyntal. Zymbr Labs announced today the launch of kyntal, a social discovery service that redefines how users connect with their like-minded and discover local businesses and deals based on personal interests and preferences.

kyntal is about discovery, not search!

With kyntal, users discover people, places and deals based on all the things that matter to them - when they least expect it. This real-world discovery principle is part of kyntal core functionality.

kyntal can be pictured as a mobile-based personal concierge, helping users to discover new, unique and interesting places nearby (e.g. stores, restaurants, spas, boutiques, bars), based on interests such as the studio with "Rooftop Yoga Classes", a sandwich place with "Organic Tofu Sandwiches" or the bar with "Karaoke and, Cuban-style Mojito".

On kyntal users can be as specific as they want: "I'm looking for an Italian restaurant, with housemade pasta, gluten-free food, family-style, within 3-5 block radius - and by the way, my wife is vegetarian". Traditional search engines would deliver thousands of non-relevant results based on such search query.

Using its patent pending multi-dimensional, context-sensitive matching engine, kyntal will find local businesses that match user's exact interests and preferences. While on-the-go, users no longer have to perform a time consuming search, she just, on the spur of the moment, discovers what is around her that is relevant to her - just like in real life. And since all the functionality of kyntal work without the user providing her identity to others, she can discover all things around her completely safe and anonymous. The more people use kyntal, the more personalized the results will be. kyntal is about relevancy and personalization.

Recommendations on kyntal work in a similar way. Other services show reviews from all kind of different users, and the user has to read through a large number of recommendations to determine which ones are relevant to her. kyntal will only show relevant recommendations written by like-minded users, independent of whether the recommender is a friend, a friend-of-a-friend or a stranger because it is based on her personal interests and not just her social network.

"kyntal is a radical shift from how we traditionally search for local businesses and the way we get connected to other people. While on-the-go, users don't always have time to do a search or to know exactly what to search for. In the real world, users make most of their decisions based on their personal preferences or recommendations from other people of like-minds", says Joao Gonzaga, CEO of Zymbr Labs. "Our goal is to build the best personalization service for users to discover new places and interesting deals, be able to interact with other like-minded in a way that mimics the real world. With kyntal, there is also a powerful social component involved - users will discover things based on recommendations from people with like-minds and common interests - people they didn't even know exist. We think the next generation of mobile services will likely be based on the effective use of the user's interest graph which we have created with kyntal. We are very excited to be the first truly interest graph, mobile-based service available in the market!"

Joao Gonzaga continues, "Privacy has become a major concern for many users, especially women. Some social networks are seeing a decrease in usage because the identity of the user must be revealed to others. On kyntal, a user can interact with other users without revealing her identity. We think that kyntal will be part of a major new trend in social mobile services to offer very personalized services without the need to share one's identity with others".

The kyntal service is currently available only in Chicago and will be launching in other major US cities later this year.

The free kyntal app can be downloaded from the App Store (http://itun.es/i6x67Xq). An Android version is planned for later this year.
