Georges N. Parent Inducted into Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Bankruptcy and Business Law

    QUEBEC CITY, August 7, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Georges N. Parent, Partner at Roy Parent, S.N. and President of Éparbois Inc., has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in bankruptcy and business law.

With nearly 50 years of dedication to his field, Mr. Parent is especially qualified to oversee a variety of tasks on behalf of Roy Parent, S.N. and Éparbois Inc. He comes from a long line of legal professionals, as his great grandfather was the premier of Quebec, and a five-year mayor of Quebec City. In addition, his other grandfather was a judge, and his father was also a lawyer. Mr. Parent felt that this line of work was in his blood and pursued his passion with a license in laws from Universite Laval in 1966. A registered trademark agent, Mr. Parent was inducted into the Barreau du Quebec in 1967, and is also a member of The Canadian Bar Association, where he has been highly recognized for his services.

In his capacity as partner at Roy Parent, S.N., Mr. Parent interviews clients and assesses their cases, and takes on litigation in commercial matters, including bankruptcy, trademark licensing and corporate law. He is also the president of Éparbois Inc., a real estate investment company. In this capacity, he invests in real estate ownership, including residential and blue chip stocks.

Throughout his prestigious career, Mr. Parents has obtained a variety of awards, including becoming the Grand Prior of The Military and Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem, a Canadian not-for-profit corporation, and the Grand Secretary General of The International Order of Saint Lazarus.
