Liberty Mutual Invitational Benefiting Forgotten Angels Nearly Sold Out

    HOUSTON, TX, October 06, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Liberty Mutual Invitational Golf Tournament, presented by E-Z Line Pipe Support and benefiting Forgotten Angels will be held on October 21, 2013 at Golfcrest Country Club in Pearland, TX. Forgotten Angels is a Pearland-based non-profit that provides quality care in safe home environments to individuals living with developmental disabilities such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, autism, Down syndrome and many other conditions.

Renee McGuire, Founder and CEO of Forgotten Angels reports "We are so excited about the tournament this year! The field is nearly sold out and our auction committee is putting together a wonderful evening event that will be fun and beneficial for Forgotten Angels. Among the auction items is an autographed bass guitar that Governor Mike Huckabee played when he appeared at our spring event in May."

Amateur golfers of all skill levels are invited to compete in a four-person scramble format. Every player will receive a pair of adidas Adicross II (retail value $90.00) at registration, as well as a Liberty Mutual gift bag that includes golf balls, a set of Tour Sticks, a golf glove and other goodies.

Golfers on the first-place team will receive a $425.00 TaylorMade gift card and Liberty Mutual Invitational championship trophies, as well as the opportunity to compete against other tournament winners from across the country in the National Finals at the Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina, March 26-30, 2014 (Handicap restrictions apply. See www.libertymutualinvitational.com for details). The National Finals is a 72-hole competition. Each team plays one round at Pinehurst courses 2, 4 and 8 during the first 3 days of the tournament. Top teams advance to a final round on Pinehurst 2. The value of greens fees, food, gifts and prizes to be received at the National tournament is over $2000.00. It's a golfer's dream vacation!

On October 21, registration and lunch will start at 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. An awards dinner, featuring the famous "Tour of the World" buffet, and auction will follow play. Golfcrest Golf Club is located at 2509 County Club Drive, Pearland, TX 77581.
