YORK, PA, October 23, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Erin Grace Lindenmuth, Owner of Golden Rays of Hope, has been recognized by Worldwide Branding for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in health care coordination.

Ms. Lindenmuth has eight years of experience, but this year decided to make it official as the owner of Golden Rays of Hope. Over the years, she has become adept at creating emergency room summaries that save time and prevent medical errors. On a daily basis, Ms. Lindenmuth helps to strengthen the relationships that patients and patient families have with the physicians, therapists, insurance companies, nursing agencies and the hospital or medical facility that provide care for them. Thanks to her policy of not taking "no" for an answer, Ms. Lindenmuth has a great deal of experience in making the impossible possible. She helps families get the equipment their children need, even when the insurance company initially refuses to pay for it, and she does so within a timely manner.

Together with patient families, Ms. Lindenmuth gathers records and creates a multi-year summary of a patient's medical history to help physicians get a snapshot of important points. Utilizing her excellent organizational skills, she helps coordinate care among specialists and primary-care doctors that might otherwise not communicate among one another. She also helps empower families to become more savvy health care consumers.

Ms. Lindenmuth feels that she is lucky to be the mother of a special needs child. She quickly learned that there was no guide to handling medical challenges, and she also learned how to communicate effectively with physicians, health care providers, hospitals, therapists, insurance companies, DME providers, medical supply companies and others. During hospital stays, she would listen to other families and what their challenges were, and she found that she couldn't walk away without helping. She created a special needs care manual based on each child's unique situation, and helped special needs children get medical equipment faster by writing letters of medical necessity and emailing them to their child's pediatrician so that it was one less thing for the doctor to have to do; they could adjust, print, sign and send the letters more quickly as a result. When families would find themselves on the brink of financial ruin, Ms. Lindenmuth would contact foundations on their behalf, and get them the resources and help they needed. She has been doing this for the past eight years.

Ms. Lindenmuth was never able to attend school; she wanted to become a doctor, but was dedicated to spending precious time with her special needs daughter, who has a predicted short lifespan. She attributes her success to knowing that she has helped the families with which she has worked. She also greatly attributes her success to having worked with Dale Carnegie Training for nine years. Ms. Lindenmuth achieved success due to her talents for creating win-win situations and handling stress. She became involved in her current profession because she was lucky enough to be chosen to be the mother of a special needs child herself. "My daughter is in and out of the hospital frequently," says Ms. Lindenmuth. "That's where I meet many of these families."

Ms. Lindenmuth has completed numerous courses through Dale Carnegie Training, including The Dale Carnegie Course, The Dale Carnegie Leadership Training for Managers Program, The Dale Carnegie High Impact Presentations Program, and The Dale Carnegie Sales Advantage Course. She is a board member of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, as well as the UPMC High-Value Care for Kids Advisory Board. To give back to her community, she contributes to the Children's Miracle Network.

Ms. Lindenmuth has volunteered her services to many families throughout the PA, MD, OH, NJ and NV areas. Ms. Lindenmuth's time away from work is devoted to her daughter. She can often be found walking with her daughter through the park, and taking her to the aquarium to see the look on her face when she watches the dolphins and fish. Ms. Lindenmuth's favorite activity is being in the water with her daughter, because she can really hold her when gravity isn't pulling them down. While she is in the water, her daughter is full of smiles, and she is able to move more freely. In years to come, Ms. Lindenmuth plans to create a special needs care binder for every state in the country. Each of these binders will be tailored to each individual's specific needs.
