Ms. Lowe's 26 years of experience and contributions to the field have marked her as a Top Female Executive.

Ms. Lowe encourages the younger generation of women to establish themselves in the workforce. She feels that there is no better time than now to start a business. It is this determination, leadership and enthusiasm for the business world that has helped Ms. Lowe reach success in her own real estate career. She has managed her own enterprise for the last two years, serving as the president of Mona Lowe Consulting Services, LLC.

In this role, she utilizes her expertise of urban redevelopment to contribute to the development of real estate properties. Ms. Lowe has been a certified property manager through the Institute of Real Estate Management since 1993. She is also recognized as a licensed real estate broker in the state of Texas. Furthermore, in 2008, she earned the title of Certified Harvard Business Executive. Not only does Ms. Lowe hold impressive accreditations outlining her real estate and business savvy, but she has earned a formal education as well. She is a 1979 graduate of The University of Texas at San Antonio, where her studies led her to earn a Bachelor of Arts in literature.

Ms. Lowe's well-rounded background has helped her become the accomplished executive she is today. She states that she has also been aided by her industry associations. Two organizations that have made a tremendous difference in Ms. Lowe's profession are the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Institute of Real Estate Management; she serves as a legislative chairwoman for the latter association. Currently, she is also involved with Women in Urban Management and the Mind Science Foundation, for which she has served as a member of the board for the last seven years.

Each year, Ms. Lowe does five speaking tours, and she is regularly involved in various community outreach activities. Her industry acumen enables her to reach out to people at all levels, both personal and professional. In fact, her leadership skills and ability to interact positively with others has no doubt contributed to the high praise her company has received from its employees.
