On The Screen Mariano Turrisi's Story - The Entrepreneur Will Reestablish The Truth

Mr. Mariano Turrisi, the entrepreneur will reestablish the truth

CANNES, FRANCE, October 29, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mr. Mariano Turrisi, the Italian American entrepreneur that in 2005 founded the Made in Italy magazine to enhance the expansion of Italian quality products abroad and was arrested in 2007 for allegedly laundry Money, after being acquitted of his charges, has decided to tell the story of his life in a book that soon will become also a American movie production.

After passing four years in jail in Italy for accusations that have proved to be unfounded, Turrisi has been judged not guilty of his charges polarizing a considerable interest on his biography. For this reason some of his old friends who are well known directors in Los Angeles have asked him to put together in writing his life story that they intend to turn into a movie script.

The Italian American entrepreneur has declared: "It's not going to be fiction but the true story of the life that I have really lived. Since life events often go beyond the imagination of a writer, I don't even need to use my imagination. I will just report on my real experiences and I can assure that it is going to be an intriguing book."

Turrisi, who had created a marketing company and a high end magazine dedicated to the Made In Italy quality production, had the dream of offering Italian artisans with enterprises of different size and importance a better placement on the US market and to protect them from the vicious attack of the low quality copied clones that arrive plentifully from the eastern Countries and pose a formidable threat to the real Italian brands.

People who know Mariano Turrisi well consider him a self made man who has worked very hard since his adolescence to create his respectable position.

In spite of that on October 22, 2007 because of his arrest in Italy, motivated according to his prosecutors by a number of charges that included also his suspected association with the mob, his plans and initiatives were brought to an abrupt stop and all his properties and assets were seized. For Turrisi, who recently has been declared finally not guilty of all his charges by the penal court in Rome, it was the beginning of a nightmare that lasted six long years and that he spent fighting to restore the truth with inflexible courage and great dignity.
