Warren Frost Recognised by Worldwide Branding for Excellence in Community Control

Warren Frost's ultimate goal is to improve health services within the Aboriginal community

Mr. Frost is driven to continue ensuring that there are proper authorities in place for health services

NEW SOUTH WALES, AUSTRALIA, November 12, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Warren Frost, ICT/IM Manager at the Aboriginal Health and Medical Research Council of NSW, has been recognised by Worldwide Branding for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in health services and quality improvement.

Passionate for working in community control, Mr. Frost is driven to continue ensuring that there are proper authorities in place for health services and ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the field. This is a long-term goal he regularly works toward attaining in his current role with the Aboriginal Health and Medical Research Council of NSW.

This council serves as a representative body and voice of Aboriginal communities concerning health matters in New South Wales. It is committed to leading the Aboriginal health agenda for better policies, programs, services and practices; and supporting, strengthening and sustaining Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services. All the while, the council focuses on ensuring that Aboriginal knowledge informs decision-making processes.

Mr. Frost has spent the last 13 years (in the capacity of ICT/IM Manager) with state affiliates including Queensland Aboriginal and Islander Health Council (QAIHC), and the Aboriginal Health and Medical Research Council of NSW (AH&MRC), overseeing team leadership, and strategic planning and development across the state for infrastructure/information/enterprise architecture, and business continuity planning and crisis management. He is also directly involved in information security, data management, research skills and technology literacy, staff training, information management policies, and IM governance frameworks at regional and state levels. His knowledge of and expertise in the field have been paramount to his success with the organisation, but he is equally grateful to have received an endorsement from National Affiliates.

Mr. Frost has spent 25 years involved in this line of work, and he holds a master's degree in information technology for business management from The University of Sydney.
