Mr. Duport has served as the President and CEO of SARI since 2007, and since August 2005 he has also been the CEO of Trendfield Holdings Ltd., a British Virgin Islands company with offices in Hong Kong and Beijing, and mining operations in West Africa and Mongolia. At Trendfield, Mr. Duport has developed the corporation into a growing mining and consulting company. In addition to his position within the West African Iron Ore Corp., Mr. Duport also serves as a director and board member of mining and petroleum companies, including GoviEx Uranium Inc. and Southern Petroleum Ltd. Mr. Duport is a member of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration (SME) in Colorado.

Mr. Duport has 26 years of professional experience, with three years as the CEO of West African Iron Ore Corp. Over the years, he has established himself as an expert in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, international business, and financing. In the course of his duties, he is responsible for developing the company into a financially stable and growing mining corporation, utilizing his specific expertise in negotiating complex business deals and establishing strategic partnerships.

Mr. Duport is the CEO of West African Iron Ore Corporation, a company dedicated to the sustainable development of mineral resources in the Republic of Guinea. With a bachelor's degree and a master's degree with honors in European commercial law, Mr. Duport continues to build on his impressive knowledge base as he pursues his MBA in corporate strategy and finance.

Launching his career in 1987 as the Managing Director of the Asia Pacific Region of ISSA Group, Mr. Duport spent nearly 20 years in senior financial management dealing with financial due diligence, mergers and acquisitions and contested take-over bids in Europe, the United States and Africa.
Drawing on a unique blend of knowledge and experience, Mr. Duport is highly recognized for his ability to develop financial stability and growth, utilizing specific expertise in negotiating complex business deals and establishing strategic partnerships.

Mr. Duport is affiliated with the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration in Colorado, the International Gemological Institute and the Gerson Lehrman Group Energy and Industrials Council. In his free time, Mr. Duport enjoys reading, playing chess, swimming, skiing and racing.

Looking back, Mr. Duport attributes his success to his determination to never give up. He became involved in his profession because of his interest in business and natural resources when he moved to China in 2000. He feels that well-managed natural resources can give a lot back to local economy and create sustainable development that will last decades.

In addition to his degrees, Mr. Duport is a council member and educator at Gerson Lehrman Group Energy & Industrials Council. In years to come, Mr. Duport intends to have West African Iron Ore's current iron ore project in Guinea, West Africa in production, creating employment opportunities for the local population and value for their stakeholders who need to believe in the long term vision to create sustainable development in a region that needs support from the extractive industry.
