KShare Launches New Online Learning Platform

Aristotl offers a 3D virtual classroom to facilitate learning complex science, technology, engineering and math concepts.

FORT COLLINS, CO, November 18, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- KShare, Inc., a Colorado-based software company, announces the release of "Aristol," a virtual 3D learning platform and it's launching of a crowd funding campaign on Fundable.com. The company also has a fund raising profile on Angel List.

Designed to make teaching and learning STEM -- science, technology, engineering and math -- easier and more intuitive, Aristotl's online classroom will allow students to visualize concepts and see experiments in action. Studies show that 65% of students are visual learners and that the use of 3D in classrooms results in better learning outcomes.

The Alpha version of Aristotl features basic chemistry, physics and astronomy libraries and collaborative functionality such as an HTML 5 whiteboard and video and chat features. Release 1.0 will feature a "course creation editor" equipped with enhanced libraries and a math lab. The editor function will include a drag-and-drop interface that can be used to develop courses, as well as a user-friendly scripting language to fine-tune the dynamics of teaching material. V 1.0 will also include an expanded, dynamic suite of collaborative tools and the ability to control classes using the Leap Motion gesture control system. Future enhancements will include porting to Mac OS, IOS and Android, and the ability for students and educators to both share and sell content in the Aristotl marketplace and community.

The concept for Aristotl emerged from KShare's work on a U.S. Department of Energy project examining how to train first responders to manage accidents involving hybrid and electric vehicles.

"I have used many online classrooms, such as Adobe Connect, WebEx and BigBlueButton, in my teaching career," explained Alan Witty, Founder & CEO of KShare. "Each lacked features needed to teach complex subjects and fully engage students.

"That led to Aristotl -- a virtual classroom, created with emerging technologies, that gives educators the power to develop truly interactive courses, allowing them to vibrantly demonstrate everything from how a hybrid car works to the structure of the human genome."
