Ms. Moyes has 41 years of experience in the industry, with a year in her current role. She is an experienced health sector leader in Australia. Her duties include overseeing a budget of $850 million, as well as services on 21 sites, 7,000 employees and three hospitals. She has a proven track record of successfully managing change and strategic positioning; it is all about improvement, sponsoring and supporting innovation, and challenging the status quo.

Ms. Moyes is an adjunct professor with Deakin University in Australia. Over the next five years, she intends to remain in the health sector focusing on delivering improved service outcomes, improving and measuring clinician engagement, and developing and strengthening strategic partnerships to create more efficient care pathways. She attributes her success to being in the right place at the right time, as well as working with some inspiring people, having a good network and working hard.

Ms. Moyes received a master's degree in health planning from UNSW and started her health career in nursing. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an Associate Fellow of the Australasian College of Health Service Management. Her interests include keeping fit, regular exercise, reading and entertaining.
