Adriana Boersma-Rodriguez Inducted into Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Telecommunications

With nearly three decades of experience in her field, Ms. Boersma-Rodriguez's professional contributions and achievements are as impressive as they are extensive. Her accomplishments throughout her career are clear examples of her devotion to her industry and her personal drive to succeed. Ms. Boersma-Rodriguez exhibited leadership qualities from the very beginning of her career, having started her own company just a few years after graduating from college. An expert in deal closures, business management and solution sales, she utilizes her extensive skill set on a daily basis in order to fulfill her responsibilities at Huawei. In the course of her duties, Ms. Boersma-Rodriguez maintains the budget for the company's global account group, develops and maintains new business opportunities, and establishes long-term relationships with customers. She is also responsible for achieving stretched targets for the global account, as well as providing support and motivation for key account managers in various markets. In addition, she reports on key performance indicators and provides support for the company's management and team activities.

Ms. Boersma-Rodriguez started her career in 1984 as the president and owner of Informatica Computational, a consulting and accounting firm that she created. After managing all of the daily responsibilities of operating her own business, she left her company to accept a managerial position at AT&T. After four years, she moved to Ericsson, where she spent the next 16 years of her career in various management positions within the company. Since accepting her current position at Huawei, Ms. Boersma-Rodriguez continues to expand her skill set and build upon her knowledge of the telecommunications industry.

With such an impressive range of accomplishments in the telecommunications industry, it comes as no surprise that Ms. Boersma-Rodriguez has been honored with numerous awards over the course of her career. She was honored by Huawei with the Team Gold Medal award in 2013 for increasing sales by 40 percent, and she was also selected as one of the company's top leaders in 2013.

Ms. Boersma-Rodriguez is the recipient of numerous degrees, and she has devoted a considerable amount of time in her career to educational pursuits. She received a master's degree in financial accounting from La Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, Mexico in 1986, and earned a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Michigan in 1980. A highly qualified professional, she has also completed extensive training courses on a wide variety of subjects, including strategic leadership, telecommunications products and services, marketing and sales. She is fluent in Spanish, English and Dutch, and she is in the process of learning several new languages, including Italian, French and German, to name a few. Her extensive educational training is indicative of her energetic personality and her open-minded approach to life.

When she is away from her duties, Ms. Boersma-Rodriguez enjoys golfing, cooking and spending time with her family. She also volunteers her time to an organization in Mexico that builds schools for children. In the near future, Ms. Boersma-Rodriguez intends to be a chief operating officer at a large telecommunications company.
