The parade will benefit Children's Healthcare of Atlanta which provides award winning pediatric care at 20 metro locations throughout Atlanta. The Children's Christmas Parade will take place along Peachtree Street in midtown Atlanta and includes clowns, floats, giant helium-filled balloons, and marching bands. The parade route begins at the intersection of Peachtree and 16th Streets and ends at 6th Street.

This unique opportunity to participate in the parade as part of the Distinguished Clown Corps is part of the event's fundraising program. Distinguished Clowns each raise a minimum of $1,500 in support of Children's. Since founding in 1991 the Clowns have raised more than $1 million.
