About Stone Oak Dermatology: After completing her B.A. degree in Chemistry/Biology/German, Dr. Linda Banta was commissioned an officer in the military and attended the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences School of Medicine in Bethesda, MD. After completing her internship in Pensacola, FL, she served as an emergency medicine doctor in Pensacola and Bethesda. In 1988, Dr. Banta was selected to attend residency in Dermatology at the Naval Hospital in San Diego, after she received the outstanding faculty award.
