SAN JOSE, CA, April 19, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The majority of the U.S. population owns some type of electronic device. From phones to desktop computers, people use these devices to access the Internet, and accessing the Internet is a means to finding information.

It's give-and-take. For the Foot & Ankle Medical Group, their website is intended to act as a library. Patients can find information related to the practice as well as read general podiatry topics.

"We realized an online presence is becoming the best way for patients to seek out general questions and concerns. If they have a specific foot problem, we recommend an exam, and requesting an appointment is also a function on our site. Our services are a call or click away," exclaims Dr. Lerman, San Jose podiatrist.

Recently, the Foot & Ankle Medical Group made their website mobile-friendly. Not everyone has a computer handy, especially with a hectic schedule. More people find it easier to pull out their smartphones and use Google.

From the comfort of patients' phones, they can easily navigate the mobile tabs and pages (located on the upper, left-hand side): Home, Our Doctors, Our Office, Conditions We Treat, New Patients, Contact Us, Appointment Request, Patient Forms and Patient Education. Each tab offers patients quality content at the tap or swipe of their fingers.

There is no easier way to acquire information than by going online.

"Improving online user experience is the key to communicating with our patients. While we love to consult with our patients face-to-face, they can also seek out answers via our website via a desktop or mobile device, and the navigation is easy for patients of all ages," says Dr. Tager.

To schedule an appointment with Drs. Lerman and Tager, call their San Jose podiatrist office at (408) 292-8800. Patients can check Dr. Lerman's website, www.footankledocs.com, by using a desktop or handheld device.
