Mr. Farquhar has 16 years of experience in operations and management, having recently become a Deputy Managing Director of Continental Outdoor Media Africa. Over the years, he has become an expert in the areas of operations, sales and marketing. In the course of his duties, he is responsible for setting and overseeing budgets and the performance of the company's business units within their African markets. He also supervises the company's General Managers. Continental Outdoor Media is a media and advertising company that provides outdoor advertising services for airports, freeways and fast-rail systems within Sub-Saharan Africa and the Indian Ocean Island regions.

Looking back, Mr. Farquhar attributes his success to his knowledge, loyalty to the company and the respect that he has received within the field. He became involved in his profession because his father was in advertising. He was given an opportunity in the field in 1997, and has never looked back.

Mr. Farquhar received a diploma in sales and marketing from Cape Peninsula University of Technology. He was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding and also maintains affiliation with the Out of Home Media South Africa and FEPE International. Mr. Farquhar intends to remain in his current position.
