Gabriel Selischi Honored for Success in the Oil and Gas Industry

    BUCHAREST, ROMANIA, May 2, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Gabriel Selischi, Executive Director of OMV Petrom S.A., has been recognized by Worldwide Branding for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in his profession.

Mr. Selischi has 10 years of industry experience, with expertise in industrial project management, business transformation and the oil and gas industry. In his current role of seven years, he is overseeing exploration and production activity, asset management, new business development, strategic planning, investing and direct reports. He is also working with clients, suppliers and stakeholders. In the future, he aims to continue acting in a senior management role.
Successful because of his hard work, education, resilience and luck, Mr. Selischi started working in the electrical and mining engineering fields. He has always had a passion for the industry. That passion prompted him to earn a master's degree in management and a diploma in engineering, in France and in Romania. He held a range of management roles internationally in Europe, Africa and Romania.

In recognition of all his achievements, Mr. Selischi was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding. He also maintains affiliations as an executive board member of OMV Petrom and as a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. He also supports the International Committee of the Red Cross.
