PEDIGREE Foundation Conducts Webinar On Grant Process

Hosted by the Human College.

NASHVILLE, TN, May 15, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The PEDIGREE Foundation announced earlier this month that applications were being accepted from non-profit, tax-exempt animal shelters and dog rescue groups. To ensure that applicants have the tools to be successful the PEDIGREE Foundation will provide insight to the grant writing process.

Grant writing can sometimes be a difficult struggle for smaller animal rescues and dog shelters due to the lack of volunteer base and staff. The PEDIGREE Foundation is determined to ensure each applicant has the tools necessary to complete the grant application. Executive Director, Julie Duke will be conducting a webinar on Friday, May 16 at 3 p.m. EST hosted by the Human College.

In this webinar, guests will learn more about the PEDIGREE Foundation and the two grant programs that are currently open: Innovation Grants that fund projects with awards of up to $25,000 and Operation Grants that provide $1,000 for general operating support. We'll review the guidelines for each program, discuss successful past applications, and take a brief look at the online application process.

To register for this webinar, please visit http://www.humanecollege.com/Webinars.

To apply for a 2014 grant, visit the PEDIGREE Foundation website at pedigreefoundation.org and click on the "Grants" link. All applicants must have a current 501(c)(3) tax designation status to submit an application.

Applications are being accepted through June 30, 2014, at 8 p.m. CST. Grants will be distributed in the fall of 2014.
