Study Shows French Could be the Language of the Future!

HEC Montreal Business French summer program.

MONTREAL, QC, June 03, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Forbes Magazine (1) recently referred to a study conducted by the investment bank Natixis that suggests that by 2050, French could be the most-spoken language in the world, ahead of English and even Mandarin. In the short term, mastering a second language is still a definite asset for anyone interested in an international career, not forgetting that French is currently spoken by 200 million people worldwide.

With this in mind, the Business Language Training Center at HEC Montreal Business School is now offering a new Business French Summer School (August 4 - 22, 2014), a unique program in North America offered for the first time by a world-class business school. This 3-week intensive program addresses the needs of all non-francophone students and is also geared towards anyone who wants to hone their French-language skills used in the workplace.

This French immersion program will revolve around an intensive credited Business French course (levels: Beginner to Intermediate/Advanced), interactive oral communication workshops as well as seminars and conferences in Marketing and Management. Participants will also take part in activities that will allow them to discover Montreal and some of its most prominent businesses: Hydro Quebec, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), Moment Factory multimedia studios and Cirque du Soleil, to name a few. The program will also offer an urban field trip along with sociocultural and sporting activities.

Only 3 weeks left to register (registration deadline: June 27)!
