Art has always been a major part of Mrs. Jaanz's life

MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA, June 16, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Artist and Singing Coach Lynn Jaanz has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in fine art and as a singing coach.

Art has always been a major part of Mrs. Jaanz's life. Growing up in Victoria, Australia, for most of her youth, she was surrounded by nature, beauty and artistic inspirations. Now, she has been a professional artist for over 10 years, and has served as a singing coach for David Jaanz School of Singing for the past 25 years. The school provides lessons in all music genres for students of every age. Many of her students have gone on to win major television show competitions, most recently Harrison Craig on series two of Australia's version of "The Voice."

Due to a battle with a chronic illness, Mrs. Jaanz was also drawn into the world of the supernatural and spirituality. This is evident in many of her works which depict the power, beauty and majesty of her search for life's meaning. She has tapped into a truly unique style of curves, crosses and glory. Mrs. Jaanz feels that her artwork is full of symbolism -- peace, nature and light --as shown by her frequent depiction of greenery and her trademark birds.

Mrs. Jaanz has been exhibiting and selling her work for nearly 10 years now. She has been named a finalist in many competitions, was featured in a six-page spread in Issue 86 of "Artist's Palette Magazine," and hopes to have her work published in the "Australian Herald Sun and Age." In addition, a solo exhibition and sale of her work will soon be held at the Smart Artz Gallery in Alfred Place, South Melbourne.

Mrs. Jaanz's artwork is in the hands of private clients and has been exhibited at Ormond Hall and Eureka Towers in Melbourne, Flynn's Gallery in Broadbeach, Queensland, Duke's Gallery in Docklands, Melbourne, at the Chapel on Station Gallery in Box Hill, Melbourne, and by the Australia China Art Foundation in Prahran, Melbourne in December 2013. In 2009, Lynn Jaanz ranked among the Top 5 Finalists of the Winsor and Newton Tricky Techniques Painting Competition.

Attributing her success to her passion, life experiences and hard work, Mrs. Jaanz aims to expand the singing studio with her husband and mentor others.
