Some Image Exchange Vendors Claim Scalability -- Others Are Proving It

KLAS report reveals which image exchange solution is more scalable for the ACO environment.

With the provider market increasingly consolidating, scalability is becoming an important consideration that could translate to some vendors gaining and some vendors losing in the image exchange market.

OREM, UT, July 01, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Exchanging images in large-scale ACO environments is a tall order that few vendors are able to prove out. KLAS' recent study entitled "Image Exchange 2014: Delivering Added Value in an Enterprise World," identifies which solutions are most scalable and how the various solutions compare in performance.

The study also examines provider intent, revealing the vendor solutions that are most vulnerable to being replaced.

"With the provider market increasingly consolidating, scalability is becoming an important consideration that could translate to some vendors gaining and some vendors losing in the image exchange market," said report author Matt Terry.

KLAS interviewed 193 providers as part of this study. The systems reviewed include products from DICOM Grid, DR Systems, lifeIMAGE, Nuance (Accelarad), eHealth Technologies, ETIAM, OneMedNet, Merge and GE.
