Local Business Shares Gift With Military Families

Serving Those Who Have Served Us.

NASHVILLE, TN, July 02, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On Friday, July 11, 2014, Glitz Nashville will help make the dreams of military brides come true by giving them a chance to get a wedding gown free of charge. In coordination with Brides Across America, Glitz Nashville will have more than 100 wedding gowns to give away to those who qualify.

Brides Across America's mission is to give away free wedding gowns to military brides on a national effort. Men get honored for their sacrifices, but fiances and wives make a large sacrifice too. Too Often military brides find it difficult to plan their "fairy tale" wedding due to deployment, injury and/or economic hardship. Heidi Janson, founder of Brides Across America says, "A wedding is something everyone loves and to give a wedding gown to support our troops makes perfect sense! This is our gift to them, to say thank you for their service and sacrifice." Brides Across America and Glitz Nashville want to roll out the red carpet for our deserving military brides - making their wedding dress dreams come true.

In order to qualify, brides or their fiance must be serving in the military; either currently deployed, have a future deployment, or have been deployed within the last five years to Iraq, Afghanistan, Middle East, Korea, or Japan. Brides must pre-register for the event and bring proper identification along with deployment papers to be presented the day of the event.

Glitz Nashville is the only bridal retailer in Tennessee that is participating in this event. For more information about Glitz Nashville please visit glitznashvile.com.
