Joseph Hooper Recognized by Worldwide Branding for Excellence in Investing

    BOWLING GREEN, KY, August 02, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Joseph Hooper, Executive Vice President of Business Development of Encore Energy, has been recognized by Worldwide Branding for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in his profession.

Mr. Hooper boasts 35 years of industry experience, and has always worked in investments and finance. He sees opportunities develop and a way to capitalize on them. He has worked in the securities industry for most of his adult life, having held Series 3, 7, 22 and 63 securities licenses, resulting in the diverse experience of trading stocks, bonds, options and futures, raising capital for real estate mezzanine financing, oil and gas exploration, salt water disposal facilities and technology companies in medical IT and social media.

His duties at Encore Energy include overseeing the direction of investment relations and marketing staff. He is a board member and a stockholder, and he has been proactive in the vision of the company.

Mr. Hooper is also a co-founder and director of Parkway Healthcare Ventures. It has begun acquiring talent and health care clinics. It is interested in markets not well served located in smaller communities. Parkway Healthcare Ventures goes into established rural clinics and buys out aging baby boomer physicians, which allows them to focus on patient care or retire, and the company handles the business aspects of the clinic.

Mr. Hooper is also a stockholder and the director of investor relations with JobHive, a company that empowers jobseekers and employers with tools that emphasize the human element of hiring. In a short period of time Jobhive has become one of the largest job sites on the internet with over 2 million job postings. He would like to take all the companies and build them into something that continues to benefit the public for years to come. He has been successful at this because of his vision; he can see things before they happen. He has goals and works toward them.

Outside the office, Mr. Hooper holds a black belt in karate, studying the disciplines of Goju-Shorei. He is an expert in weapons and other hand-to-hand combat, and teaches the art in Bowling Green. He still competes in regional tournaments. He co-founded the Snowman's Splash in Kentucky. This event raises money for the Coalition For Kids' drug and alcohol educational program. He is also very involved with other charities and fundraising efforts. As a 56-year-old cancer survivor, he fully understands the benefit of giving back to his community. In the future, he plans to continue to work with charities and children.
