FLORENCE, AL, September 10, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Frank B. Potts, Managing Partner and Attorney of Potts & Young Attorneys, LLP, has been recognized for over three decades of dedication, leadership, excellence, and ethics in legal representation of his clients. He recently received a 20th Anniversary Award for his AV Preeminent Attorney Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating for legal ability and ethics given by this distinguished Peer-Review rating service. He was recently inducted into Worldwide Registry for his accomplishments and distinctive service to the legal profession.

Mr. Potts has 32 years of professional experience, with 31 of those years as a managing partner and attorney of Potts & Young Attorneys, LLP. Throughout his career, he has established himself as an expert in several legal fields, including personal injury, social security disability, wrongful death, and motor vehicle accidents. On a daily basis, he is responsible for overseeing litigation and insurance disputes.

Potts & Young is Northwest Alabama's oldest law firm. The firm was built upon the policy of always putting the needs of its clients first rather than the firm, which has contributed to its great success. The firm provides legal services from mediation to probate, criminal defense to US immigration, personal injury to family law, among other legal endeavors.

Mr. Potts attributes his success to his dedication to and empathy for his clients, as well as his father's outstanding tutelage; he served as role model to him and inspired him to become a lawyer. Mr. Potts saw as a child how his father helped others in so many unselfish ways and knew from that time that when he grew up he wanted to use his God-given talent to help others as his father did. After concluding a judicial clerkship for the Alabama Supreme Court, Mr. Potts worked side by side with his father for over 25 years.

Mr. Potts received a Juris Doctorate from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he graduated with Honors in 1982, and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Southern Adventist University, where he graduated with High Honors in 1979. Mr. Potts is a published legal author, and has been active in service to the Society of Adventist Attorneys, the American Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Alabama Association for Justice, the Alabama State Bar and the Lauderdale County Bar Association. He was Outstanding Jaycee of the Year, and he has been presented with a Distinguished Board of Trustee Award for over a decade of service to the Southern Adventist University Board of Trustees. In years to come, Mr. Potts intends to bring more lawyers on board to keep his father's traditions intact, and to be able to help more clients.
