/24-7PressRelease/ - PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL, January 24, 2008 - Palm Beach Gardens Marriott is now encouraging guests to "Go Green" on Sundays and visit the local Taste of the Gardens GreenMarket.

The Marriott Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida not only supports and encourages local events and activities around town, but gets excited to promote "green" events in the area.

Co-sponsored by The Palm Beach Post, Taste of the Gardens GreenMarket will be open every Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. until mid-April. This outdoor market is a free event, offered to the community as a way to support local sellers.

Located in Gardens Park, at 10500 N. Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33401, which is directly behind the City Hall Municipal Complex, just south of PGA Boulevard, guests and locals alike have the opportunity to enjoy local produce, hand-baked goods, fresh flowers, and arts and crafts made by local artists, all accompanied by live music.

The first Sunday of each month, the GreenMarket features a business expo, where local businesses distribute information about their products and services to build awareness in the local community.

As a recently renovated North Palm Beach, Florida hotel, the Marriott offers guests and locals alike fresh cuisine at BlueFire Grille. Serving steaks and seafood seared to perfection, hearty pasta dishes alongside distinctive drinks, this restaurant features crisp local ingredients in a casually elegant atmosphere, great for couples, families, or larger parties. Club Safari is known as one of South Florida's hottest nightclubs, and is perfect as a late-night, post-dinner destination for those looking to dance the night away.

Experience the freshest local green market, then discover the tastes of the city at Marriott's distinctive Palm Beach restaurant. Make it a day, and a night, in South Florida.
