Liteye & ISTEC ICE Sign Joint Agreement to Bring Digital Image Fusion Products to USA

ISTEC ICE has developed a new digital image fusion technology and signs two way deal with Liteye to bring range of products to market in USA and support UK products lines.

    CENTENNIAL, CO, September 23, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- ISTEC ICE Ltd., (www.istec-ice.com), an electronic systems design and manufacturing company located in Hertford UK, has signed a two way deal with Liteye Systems, Inc. (www.liteye.com), a manufacture of thermal surveillance systems, in Centennial Colorado. Under this new agreement Liteye will distribute, develop, and support a line of OEM offerings as well as finished commercial products utilizing ISTEC ICE's technology for digital image fusion. In return Liteye will be providing OEM thermal camera solutions to ISTEC ICE to support their line of products made in the UK.

The move is designed to strengthen and bolster sales into military, homeland security, and commercial security markets in the USA, as well as supply OEM solutions to systems integrators and product developers in other areas. Liteye will be supplying ISTEC ICE with custom OEM thermal camera solutions to support their development and manufacturing in the UK.

Under the terms of the agreement, Liteye will act as US sales, development, assembly, support, and service for a range of OEM solutions and finished products including a new handheld surveillance camera in the USA. In the UK Liteye will supply ISTEC ICE with custom OEM thermal imager packages for use in their products.

Digital image fusion is the process by which two or more images are combined into a single image, whilst still retaining the important features from each of the original images. This gives the combined advantage of the detection capabilities of a Thermal Imager with the identification capability of a low light level day camera.
