Michael R. Moss Honored for Excellence in Knowledge Sharing and Interpersonal Communication

Using Web technologies, Mr. Moss works behind the scenes to facilitate legal transactions and communications between dynamic and growing organizations.

One of Mr. Moss' most favorable qualities is persistence.

FRANKLIN, TN, September 29, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michael R. Moss, Chief Operations Officer of Source Force International LLC, was recently named a VIP member of Worldwide Branding. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

Mr. Moss has 27 years of professional experience, with four years as the Chief Operations Officer of Source Force International LLC. Throughout his career, he has become an expert in connecting people, with additional strengths in strategy, business analysis, legal practice support, leadership and management. On a referral basis, he connects professionals and individuals who wish to make transactions between North Africa and the U.S. On a daily basis, he is responsible for supporting the technologies that facilitate SharePoint portal deployments. Mr. Moss also guides professional technology initiatives and integrates expert legal systems with large law firm document management systems.

One edge that Mr. Moss feels he has in the industry is his ability to liaise among staff, attorneys, and clients. He helps these individuals and groups use technology to share their ideas and conduct their businesses more efficiently. One example of this was enhancing a Web portal system that connected more than 8000 users across 500 clients and multiple legal practices.

For BYU-I's charitable Pathway project, Mr. Moss used the tools of the trade for collaboration and document sharing to help get the word out and to educate or sign up, schedule meetings, and follow up with Middle Tennessee contacts. The response has been a wonder; a miracle, in his opinion. Using the work skills of his profession has made an impact for good among a new class of college freshmen ages 19-65.

One of Mr. Moss' most favorable qualities is persistence. Source Force International was asked to help an African company meet with a multi-national company regarding a particularly sensitive technology. Thanks to his hard work, persistence prevailed, and both parties expressed great appreciation after the meeting. Considering the prominent stature of the organizations involved, Mr. Moss considers the facilitation of this meeting to be a highlight of his career.

Looking back over his career as a whole, Mr. Moss attributes his success to connecting and working with people professionally as defined by his college mentor: "A professional," said his mentor, "is one who serves." That has been Mr. Moss' motto in business, law, and even in technology. He became involved in his profession having watched his father deal as businessman-farmer and a transactions attorney, so he was able to understand business and legal operations from a young age. During his undergraduate years, he studied business information management, simple programming and database analysis and worked as a teacher assistant to the philosophy professors. He then attended law school, where he served as lead articles editor for the "Journal of Public Law" and a computer consultant to students, staff and faculty, which was the first job of his career. He has progressed ever since in a combination of business, law and technology for large legal firms, legal vendors, government and international business entities. From 2006 until 2011, he was a legal researcher and counsel on the Advisory Board of Utah's school district/charter school, Lincoln Academy. This experience brought together his professional skills as a legal researcher, adviser, and technologist, while allowing insight into the workings of one of Utah's most acclaimed charter schools. During this time he was also able to form Source Force International LLC with charter school parent, Eric Schetselaar, and international political figure, Dr. Al Khalafalla.

Mr. Moss received a JD from J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in 1989, as well as a bachelor's degree in philosophy with an emphasis in business information management from Brigham Young University in 1986. He is a member of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society, the Utah State Bar, and the Boy Scouts of America as an active adult leader. He consistently receives company and firm awards for his high level of performance and excellence. In years to come, Mr. Moss would like to be applying advances in technology to make it radically easier to securely store and easily share information. He hopes that professional organizations and businesses can rapidly transact business to the benefit of their local economies and governing structures using technologies that scale globally.

Source Force International LLC is an international trading company and law firm technologist that builds professional connections in order to facilitate commercial transactions in the U.S., the Middle East and Northern Africa.
